Multiplier adjust not possible

Hey,

I have a Xeon 2609 v3 on a MSI X99A SLI plus and wanted to overclock it, but after I got in the BIOS I couldnt change the multiplier over its base multiplier of 20. But even in the BIOS it says that it is unlocked

 

Please help!

As far as I know that CPU can't be overclocked using the multiplier.  You can gain a litlle with the BCLK. 

 

You're not the first person to try this, BTW.

But even my BIOS says that it is unlocked. I know those threads but I think my BIOS should know better, right?
