I am soon going to build a computer with a GTX 1060 6GB, and my max budget for the cpu is around 200€. This is pretty straightforward: considering I will be doing overclocking on the ryzen if I get it, which cpu is better for mainly gaming but also productivity from time to time? Is the ryzen even a little bit futureproof? Consider that the R5 1600 is 50€ cheaper where I live and the motherboard is almost 40€ cheaper so I end up saving almost 100€ in total that would go towards some better peripherals and maybe a better case.

i personally believe that the 1600 will serve you better long term, but both will be good for gaming the 1600 though will be a lot better in productivity work. Plus when budget permits you will easily be able to move up to a second gen ryzen.
