XBone Controller Wired problems

I'm no longer able to connect my xbone wireless controller to my computer with a micro usb cable. I get an error message that says it's not recognized and in device manager i see "Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)". In properties it says "Windows stopped the device because it has reported problems. (code 43)". Hitting driver details tells me that no driver files are required or have been loaded. I've tried multiple ports, cables and controllers to no avail.

System restore to a point when it was working , or reinstall the usb driver.

Yeah , the usb controller doesn't run on hopes and dreams it uses a driver.

i right clicked anything that said usb or controller then hit update,browse my computer,choose from a list, then i just hit next and did the next one on the list, and after them all i restarted, no avail. i guess i should system restore then reinstall my games. yay

I said system restore to a point when it was working not before the machine existed lol
