8700k Overclock Settings

Hi i am overclocking the 8700k at 4.9ghz and its running at 1.312 vcore is that good or bad what could i push it 2 thanks

note never overclocked a intel system only amd

4.9 and 5.1 are both power efficient spots for the 8700k, 1.31v sounds about right, anything under 1.38v and 80C is fine imho for everyday use.

Ok mine currently hits 88C max at current settings on a EKWB 360 Water Cooling

Having a decent cooling system, I've seen a lot of people easily sustain >=5.1ghz at relatively high 1.35v vcore and with slightly tweaked BCLK and VDDCR SoC voltage, they have gone as far as 5.3ghz. 

But all as long as decent thermals. Although few people may not be comfortable with high vcore, but just know that as long as you dissipate the power that high voltages output, nothing's going wrong.

88C @ 4.9Ghz is rather high i think. What stress test are you using?
