So obviously the Node 202 is a small case and I really want to have something that I can pick up and move around when I need to and put in my backpack. My biggest worry about this case is the temperatures. (If there are any other case recommendations, I really want something with a slim'ish profile not boxy more rectangular and I wouldn't really want to spend more then $150 on a case.)

I plan on putting a full size 1080Ti or 1080 (most likely blower style because I hear its better for small cases) and possibly a Ryzen CPU.

Fully Modular SF600 Corsair Power supply also

The question I hope I can get some insight on is what CPU I should get since I haven't had much experience in PC building other than two my whole life.

1. I do want to get a Ryzen CPU for its affordable high core amount though for a case this small should I get the 2700 instead of 2700x to get full potential?

The reason I ask this question is the 2700 already does great imo and I don't plan on overclocking and the huge TDP difference in the 2700x (which I'm guessing would correlate to high temperatures right?) OR should I switch to towards an Intel CPU if I'm looking for lower temperatures? And Then if so what would be a good choice in the same price range (+/- $100) of the 2700?

I do plan on putting a Noctura low profile CPU cooler on this and not using stock since from what I have seen they tend to work the best out of the majority and quiet. Though if you have any other recommendations I wouldn't mind to do my own research and see then, just need to be put on the right path at least here.

Thanks!

Everything, video editing, gaming, casual work.

then 2700 is your best bet in that case, maybe then find the best combination of clock speed, voltage and temperature.

As for the cooling setup, the Cryorig C7 Cu's heatsink is very good, but the fan isnt (loud). Swap a Noctua fan on there and it will be as good as it can get.

Ok, thank you very much! :)
