Which GTX 780???

Hey everyone.


 


I'm currently shopping for a new GPU and i'm pretty set on a 780 but can't decide on which one to get.


I have had my heart set on the EVGA classified for £430 but recently the MSI gaming has come onto special for only £360 and the MSI Lightning LE for £390.


Which would you recommend?

My Build Log on PCPartPicker FX-6300, ASUS M5A78L-M/USB3, MSI 7870 GHz Edition, Corsair Vengeance LP 1x8GB, 1TB WD Blue, Fractal Core 1000 USB 3.0, Corsair CX600, and my most recent addition that I've had forever and isnt new is a 80GB WD800 for Linux, Lenovo ThinkPad X131e, ASUS Transformer TF300T, Galaxy Note 3 Sister dropped it in a puddle I now have to use a Samsung Brightside, Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250ohm version, Blue Yeti  #TheRealKEH-JEFF | "Sometimes, if were lucky, in Australia, a family has 2 kangaroos to pick up the kids with" - marto | Your entry here | Remember kids; just because Linus has a video on it, doesn't mean that its the best choice | ts3.wferr.com the best TeamSpeak | Abide by the CoC | Looking for build help? Too bad MSI's cooler is better in everway and the lightning card stomps the shit out of the dcuii. Good try though :P

Yeah, the Asus cards are overrated IMHO, MSI does a great job and has probably the best stock cooler.

I'm a fan of Asus products but I have had two terrible experiences with their rma and customer services deponent so I would like to stay away.

so basically it's not worth the extra cash for a classified then.

Also the gaming edition is clocked higher than the lighting Le, will the lightning still overclock further even with it being the older/slower GPU?

EVGA for the awesome customer support :-) though Asus are really great if you need it to be silent

I would go with the EVGA GTX 780 classified W/ ACX Cooler, the warranty on EVGA cards is really good and the cooler looks amazing and performs awesome.
