So I am looking into building my first PC myself.

I'm in the middle of nowhere Thailand and only have 2 stores to buy from, JIB and InvadeIT.

I want to try and keep the total cost under 40,000 with a monitor (1080p) so the rig needs to be under 37,000.

I don't care about it being pretty but I need it to survive the weather, with normal daytime temps hitting over 35 C.

I really want the whole thing to fit a mini-ITX case as I need to travel for work.

I want to use the rig for gaming and normal PC usage, there will be no editing, streaming or anything heavy like that.

So down to the important stuff then, I have kinda pick and mixed a rig together but I would like someone who knows what they are talking about to give me some advice.

CPU : I5 8600

Mobo : ASRock H370M ITX

GPU : Galax 1060 OC 6GB

RAM : Kingston Hyper X Fury 2400 (8Gb * 2)

Storage : 2 Tb Seagate Barracuda 7200 / WD Green 240Gb SSD (I would like to add more HDD storage later for media)

Power : Corsair CX650M

Case : Cooler Master Elite 130

The list above runs to about 34,500 at the time of posting, this would let me get a monitor and still allow some wiggle room on the parts (or add a cooler to the rig, AIO or air?)

Any and all help is welcome and much appreciated.

For CPU cooler the Noctua NHL9i: https://noctua.at/en/nh-l9i

Everything else seems fine but check for parts' compatibility on pcpartspicker. (Also when travelling dont let the PC be in cargo or something. HDDs dont like movement or vibration.

PCPartsPicker gave me the OK for the build already, I was just wondering if anyone here thought I should change anything since I only want to game on it.

I did look at a Ryzen build on there too but it was adamant that the Mobo I was looking at did not exist.

If you can get DDR4-2666 for not much more it would be worth the added cost.

The system would be fine with a 450W or 550W psu.

You might consider an hdd designed for transport. The HGST Travelstar would be my choice.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

I can get the higher RAM for only a little extra, thanks for the tip. As for getting a lower PSU, I really like the idea of using a modular block to try and help with space limitations and the CX650 was one that I knew to be a semi-modular block and the price isn't silly.

I'm not sure about posting outside links, sorry if it's a no-no, you can see what they have for sale https://www.jib.co.th/web/product/product_list/3/185/0?price=&brand=
