What should I do

I want to possibly upgrade the hardware in my computer from a rx 480 sapphire nitro to a gtx 1080 but I have a fx 8370 and 16gb of ram Corsair value selection and a tb sshd and a 500gb San disk ssd do you think it would bottleneck badly If I just got the 1080 or should I just upgrade everything ?

Yes. get better CPU.
