I have a PowerMac G4 that crapped out after its power management battery died. So now I have a really big paperweight.

Granted, it looks cool and is a solid piece of tech history but I would like a PC that works to live inside the case.

I think the motherboard is mATX size, but I don't have a good idea on what to put into it. I have a 7350K I plan to put into it and use it as a guest gaming PC (imagine the looks on their faces, ha!), and apart from a motherboard and proper ram, I have all the hardware.

My concern is cable management (There is none, though it's quite a roomy case), cooling (The original DP 1GHZ G4s only needed a single 40mm fan, and the only other fan is the PSU fan), and connectivity (Front I/O will be nonexistent and the rear I/O shield doesn't look standard sized)

Why are you worried about cable management? The case doesnt have a window..

If its because of temps, well:

There's a 40mm intake fan and no exhaust.

That's why I'm worried, even though the 7350K is relatively low powered for a K sku it still outputs like 70W when OCed to 4.7Ghz.

You can normally put a 120mm rad in the bottom and use a aio. Thats what i did as no air cooler would work well.

What g4?

I have done this with a quicksilver. Pretty easy if you have tooling experience and worked well.

Should be a QS model. Only tools for metalworking I own are hand held drills and a hacksaw.

There's no bottom intake? I'm confused

Thats a quicksilver, those are easy to modd.

Get a dremet to cut out the bac.

ATX psus will fit easily.

Cut a hole in the bottom for a aio.

GPU's fit easily.

Gotcha. I want this case to remain as stock as possible though in case I need to convert back. I can mount a single aio on the exhaust fan mount (Mine has no fan for some bizarre reason). That should work fine. I'm just unsure as to how to mount an atx psu. I might need a server psu or an sfx psu that I can fit in the bottom.

Your not gonna convert back easily. Its a one way thing.

ATX psu's will fit in that case with no modding. They just go in.
