Bass Amp Software?

Bought the Beyerdynamic DT 990s and the mids and highs are beautiful. The bass really lacks the punch to the ears, is there a software i can use to turn up the bass?

 

FYI, if you listen to nightcore this headset makes it feel like smooth butter flowing into your ears.

really? bass is lacking? are you using the 990's or the 990 pro's?

 

anyways foobar2K has a built in EQ, if you want it for windows in general, get an EQ

I don't have an amp or anything of the sort. Should I have gone with 250 ohm and bought an amp?

If you dont have amp... thats the prob

Then use eq to further increase bass or whatever you like

yep, it would have been better, because you have the amp, not necessarily because it's 250ohm

fiio E10 is pretty portable if you ask me, fits in your pocket, o2 amp and dac combo is also extremely portable, not to the extent of the e10 though

You don't need a DAC, but you grab a fiio product if you want to save some money, but beware of the quality control problems. There has been a rise in problems that I've noticed, or you can grab an o2 with batteries.

if the 990's arent enough for you maybe you should have gone with the dt770 instead, or some similar closed headphones instead of open.
