I am looking to build my own PC, which I can run a hand full of games on and also editing software. I am new to building a PC but I am very confident that I can build the PC without a problem. I am unsure on the hardware and components that go into it. I have a list of everything I am looking to put into the build, but would like the input of the community. Could you please tell me if what is in the list is suitable for what I want the PC to do and if I have actually chosen compatible components or not.

Motherboard: ASUS X470 PRIME X470-PRO

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 8-Core 20 MB Cache 105 W CPU with Wraith Prism Cooler

RAM: Corsair CMK16GX4M2B3000C15 Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz C15 XMP 2.0

GPU: Gigabyte Nvidia GTX 1050 WF2 GDDR5 OC 2GB PCI-E

Power Supply: EVGA 750 GQ, 80+ GOLD 750W, Semi Modular, EVGA ECO Mode, Power Supply 210-GQ-0750-V3

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB 2.5 inch Solid State Drive

HDD: Seagate BarraCuda - 4 TB internal hard drive, Silver,ST4000DM004

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 275R Mid-Tower ATX Gaming Case

The main thing I'm concerned about is the GPU and if I need more cooling fans in the case, but I still may have gotten some other things wrong.

All your advice will be a great help and very much appreciated. I am also open to any suggestions of you guys think there may be better alternative to what I am looking at.

Thanks for your input, are the 1060's available with 3 or more HDMI outputs. Sorry but I should have said I was planning on using 3 monitor's for this build

I'd reckon you'd need more than a 1060 to run 3 monitors comfortably, especially if you're going to run any games on all 3 monitors.

How many fans does the case come with? 1 exhaust and 2 on the front would be sufficient, I imagine, but if you're okay with putting up with a louder set up, add as many as you're comfortable with! xD

CPU: AMD 7800X3D Motherboard: NZXT B650E RAM: 32GB 5600 30-CL Corsair Vengeance DDR5 GPU: MSI Gaming X Trio RTX 2070 PSU: Corsair RM850i Monitor: Samsung 27" 4K thing Cooling:Noctua Chromax Black NH-D15: Case: NZXT H510 Black

I would just be running games off one monitor, I would be using 3 for ease of use when using editing software.

The case comes with one exhaust fan but I think I'll definitely take on board putting in two extras, I'd rather a bit of noise than everything overheating

You'd struggle mightily to overheat like that! 2 exhaust fans should be more than adequate, and if you haven't already watch Linus' video on pressure in your case to help with dust.

1060 would still be a much better bet, especially if you can reach for the 6GB model.

Thanks, I'm not really bother about the budget on the build too much, so I'm happy to upgrade the GPU if it will noticeably help with performance.

Quick ques, what kind of editing software? It might be wiser to swap that 2700X out for an 8600k depending on what you're doing.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

Oh well if you have no budget....

Within reason haha. I don't want a budget because then I'd have to compromise on stuff and potentially lose a lot of performance, but I don't want to go insane on the parts and end up with a cost of £2000 before I even look at monitor's and accessories.
