Found some interesting tablets from HP.

http://www8.hp.com/us/en/ads/new-products/slate-8-pro.html

Mainly the HP Slate 8 Pro and HP Slate 7 Extreme

They are small little tablets (8;7 inch) Powered by nVidia tegra 4. So quite powerful tablets.

Has microSD so it has my thumbs up for that. But has only 1 GB of ram.

Android 4.2

HP Slate 8 Pro

Kinda like HP Slate 7 Extreme with few upgrades and feature losses and more expensive. 329$

Nice Screen: 8" screen with 250 ppi 1600x1200 res IPS 4:3

Built for portait mode. (Speaker setup, bezels)

Doesnt have the built-in stylus

Better Cameras if you care about that. 8MP rear camera. 720p webcam.

HP Slate 7 Extreme

This tablet looks pretty much like the evga tegra note 7 except manufactured by HP. Has nice price of 199$ but out of stock

Built-in capacative stylus. (with nvidia mods making it low latency)

Nice frontfacing speakers.

7" screen with 216 ppi 1280x800 res IPS 16:10

Wonder why HP so quiet about them. Are they a terrible failure compared to specs? Hope not.

4:3 aspect ratio? That is interesting. I think that is a much better aspect for viewing the web. All the vertical space.

I thought these guys were too busy laying off their employees to work on new tablets?

How did that multi-billion dollar Palm buy-out work for HP?
