Okay thank you again for the fast and helpful reply. I guess I will go with the components you suggested. And not to spam this anymore I just have two final questions: Is there any difference in quality between the modular and non-modular CX550 from Corsair(the newer grey models)? And should I worry with memory compatibility for the 2nd gen Ryzen(brands wise)?

not too much difference, but run with the newer model as standards change over time and the newer one should be slightly better.

memmory compatibility is pretty good on Ryzen 2 and shouldnt be a concern. if you are unlucky you might have to update the bios to get it stable and if worst comes to worst you run it at a step lower than what is advertized

Hello everyone,
I am long-overdue for a new computer. I decided that now is the best time to build, since prices of current generation video cards have settled and possible release of GTX 2050/2060 should not take very long time(I hope).

The build isn't going to be anything fancy and I would like not to stretch the budget farther than 1400 BGN which is roughly 715 EUR or 830 USD.
As my main goal will be gaming with a mix of productivity I want the system to be balanced. Unfortunately I have a TV instead of a monitor, which is a 1080p 23.6" Samsung T24E390EW. Do you think I will be fine with it or I should get a good monitor instead?

So here are the main components:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Gigabyte - B450M DS3H Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard  ($69.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: Kingston - FURY 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR4-2666 Memory  ($94.04 @ OutletPC)

First off, the case might be a bit too expensive for the build, but due to limited choice of good computer cases here in Bulgaria I chose the Meshify C because it has good airflow, build quality and is the most visually pleasing case in this price segment, well the Dark TG variant might be better looking, but it is 10euro more expensive and since the hardware that will be seated in the case won't be winning any visual awards I am sure the solid panel version should suffice. One could argue that the Focus G is also a viable option, but I do not find it to be as good looking and water cooling support is poor.

The power supply is solid choice but I am open to suggestions for better/cheaper models. As for storage I think the WD Green SSD is very good for its price, although I do not know about quality and would like suggestions. Now about the memory, I guess faster memory is better but since the prices are so outrageous I have no idea what is best to choose and on top of that, which memory is better for Ryzen, since not all work very well with it. I hope to find 2x4GB kit because the benchmarks confirm dual channel is better than single.

I chose the Ryzen 5 2600 because it is at a decent price while also giving me some future proofing with its number of cores, performance is good and cheaper than Intel. Another option might be the i5-8400. For the motherboard I am not sure which brand to choose since all have their pros and cons and this is the biggest troublemaker in the build, I need a lot of advice here.

And finally, the video card: I listed the 1050Ti to represent what I am willing to spend, but can go over budget. Should I wait for the 2050/2060 release or should I go with current gen?
I almost forgot the OS, I guess Windows 10 with its "free" state at least for now should be enough.

Dpmt wait for the 2050/2060 series. While some is to gain, they are a couple or months away. Get a RX580 or an gtx 1060 6GB (whichever is cheaper or the 580 if you have a freesync display).

Try to get 3000/3200mhz kit of ddr4.

Dont get that mobo, instead pick up an ASrock B450 PRO4 or the MSi B450 tomahawk.

Thank you very much! But I forgot to mention that I won't be able to buy all components at once, so that's the reason I said I could potentially wait for 2050/60. And about the motherboard, will the Asus B450 models be good? Also I don't mind B350 but I want 2nd gen Ryzen support out of the box.

i would avoid most of the B450 and B350 from ASUS, the VRM cooling is pretty bad on them, except on the more expencive one, and even on the most expencive one its pretty mediocre, especially for the cost. the boards i mentioned will more or less be the best choice.

you can probably grab a B350 PRO4 from ASrock, though it is very likely you will be fine i cant guarantee it.
