1. if it's in your budget, get the r5 2400g

2. SLi is for Nvidia graphics cards. You're looking for crossfire. Also, if it was possible, it would slow down your GPU a lot.

3. Yes, graphics overclocking and CPU overclocking are independent, even on an APU, same as if you had a graphics card. Just remember, all that thermal output is in one single place.

4. A custom loop seems excessive for an APU, but if you have big plans for a graphics card in the future, it would be worth it to get excellent CPU frequencies in excess of 5.0 GHz on all cores. Otherwise, just get a 240.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

i would either get a 2200G or a i3-8100+ 1050 ti, 2400G is not worth it imo.

2400g is super worth it for upgradability in the future. 4c/8t and higher clocks out of the box vs 4c/4t? Multitasking suffers on low threaded CPUs anyway, why not shoot for the better CPU if it's in budget? Also it has more graphics cores so pre gpu performance is better
