I have two notable issues with audio that may be unrelated, but hear me out. My microphones tend to have static with them. I am unable to use my Blue Snowball due to this and am confined to a collapsed pair of Hyperx Clouds as an alternative. They tolerate this static effect better than the Blue Snowball, thanks to my friends complaining about the static when I use them. I made a thread a while back detailing this same issue, and the temporary fix was to perform a Windows Configure Speech Recognition, but it proved to be not very helpful in the end. My second issue is my sound cutting out frequently. I have to replug them or refresh the browser page to get it back. I tried changing the headphone cable in hopes that maybe the cable was wearing out, but the problem persisted. In fact, my sound cut out in the process of writing this post. So I must ask,

What is causing my audio, both input and output, to be problematic? Is it the onboard sound?

Do you have latest drivers installed for integrated sound card?

Also does Windows mixer show anything played back when sound cuts?

What about does Event Viewer show any errors for moments when sound cuts?

Microphones usually have very weak signal which easily suffers from interference.

Though USB mics having analod to digital conversion close to mic should be better.

(unless done well they're again sensitive to possible noise from USB power)

I have to check up on the top section of your post, but the Hyperx Cloud uses 3.5mm microphone jack. The Blue Snowball is the USB microphone. From my original post, wouldn't this not align with what you said?

Mixer also doesn't show anything being played although the headphones display being connected.
