Hello everyone,

I built this computer last summer but I just upgraded my videocard and I have added a custom videocard back-plate for the first time.

The build turned out to be a very pretty one, so I decided to brag share it here!

The spec:

I7-7800X (cooled by Corsair H100i GTX)

Aorus X299 Gaming 9

32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum RAM (I will soon upgrade to 64GB)

Nvidia Quadro P2000

Intel SSD6 512GB NVME SSD (Boot)

Intel SSD6 1TB NVME SSD (Save Storage)

Intel Optane 800p 128GB (Scratch Disk)

Seasonic Platinum 520 FanlessCorsair Crystal 460X

ermmm I don't know how to link video here.... <- youtube link for 4 seconds of  RGB lighting

Before anyone starts telling me 7800X is a terrible CPU, I'm going to leave this explanation.

I work as a Graphic Designer and I mainly use Photoshop and InDesign.

I have tried many tests over the years and I realized that Save Drive and Scratch Drive speed impacts my workflow the most.

I simply wanted as many NVME and Optane drive and 8700k won't give me enough PCI-E lanes.

I know that the best solution is a high speed NAS over 10gbps but that's a lot more expensive than a terabyte of NVME drives....

^nah, that's all bs, I just wanted my X299 Aorus RGB

I will post my gaming PC here later when I have more time.

That's a really sexy rig, I love the lighting contrasts. Do you have any shots of it in the dark?

Is there a reason you didn't get the 7820X?

EDIT: another question: why is your GPU in the bottom slot?

Thanks! :D

7800X was on a massive sale when I got it. (something like 30% iirc)

There has been a lot of testing that PCI-E gen 3 can run even 1080ti with 8x.

So I thought I would use  bottom slow to show more of Motherboard RGB since 8x is enough. xD

I will try to post more pics when I get time!

Edit: added photos
