have u tried plugging it into another usb port?
if you have, try to uninstall the driver, restart and reinstall the driver again.

Weird problem I know and weird place to post I was browsing the net and all of the sudden my mouse wheel when I click it to scroll down and up faster wont work I thought it was due to mouse so I went to my laptop and plugged it and tried it and it worked I restarted my PC did everything .i'm sick of it I wish i  was the mouse so I can just change it it seems to be from windows.
