Streaming with an APU?

So apparently integrated graphics is about 1000% better than it was on the iGPU that was around when my favorite game, Planetside 2 came out.

Like HOLY SHIT this would be enjoyable now.

Unfortunately the game uses 4 cores, but if AMD keeps up adding more cores to their products do you think they would make a 6-core APU I could stream Planetside 2 on? xD

I doubt they'd make that, the APUs are great at for an entry-level and to upgrade from later because of the Ryzen upgrade path. 6 Cores aren't exactly entry-level.

The ccx module is not a small chip, it is just impossible to fit a 10cu Vega unit with 2 ccx under the IHS. Even in 12nm process, that's why it is no 6 core apu.

Maybe it can be done under 7nm process, but the cost of having 6 or 8 cores with a vega gpu may end up be a non-competitive product.
