Hello,

So recently my 1080 that I've had since its release has passed away. And coincidentally the new RTX series came out today. Since I've learned to never pre-order new cards and instead wait for youtubers like LTT and other get there samples to show everyone if there worth it or not. So hopefully the samples will come out soon and I can make my decision on getting the 2080 or not. But in the meantime I'm gonna get a decent 6g 1060 that I can use till the cards ship. My question is what I can do with the 1060 once the 2080 gets to me. My biggest hope is that I can use the 2080 for the monitor I play my games on and the 1060 for my other two monitors so I can put less strain on the main card. But please tell me what else I can do with it, doesn't matter what I just really don't want to let it go to waste. And if you can't just rust two cards that aren't SLI then ill just put it in my old system and use it as a streaming pc for twitch or use it for 4k Netflix, amazon, youtube etc.

Thank You

There's not really much benefit to using the 1060 for other monitors unless you're doing some graphically heavy stuff on them while also gaming.

I'd just put it in the old PC or sell it off.
