Hi!

I have a ryzen 5 2400g, which I bought to start me off with a meh PC during the gpu inflation craze, but since that its died down (more or less), I'm in the market for a dedicated graphics card. Whats the highest tier graphics card that I can go for without causing major bottlenecks? I know the apu has only 8x Pcie lanes so theoretically that should limit something somewhere, right? I saw a 1070 for a reasonable price on craigslist.............

Sky's the limit with your CPU. Just shoot for whatever is in your budget, graphics cards have yet to populate all of PCIe x16.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Not really, just limits how many expansion cards you can plug in to your pc.

Well, the new RTX 20 series cards just got launched so I'm guessing everyone's selling their old GPUs as fast as possible. I know I am kek. But make sure you can test that 1070.

Ryzen 5 1600 @ 3.9 Ghz  | Gigabyte AB350M Gaming 3 |  PaliT GTX 1050Ti  |  8gb Kingston HyperX Fury @ 2933 Mhz  |  Corsair CX550m  |  1 TB WD Blue HDD

Inside some old case I found lying around.
