Buy now or Wait?

Hi LTT community, I have a job using fusion 360 and Solidworks but also need a computer that can game AAA titles. Could you please help me figure out if I should wait for the 9th Gen Intel CPUs or buy AMDs or Intel's current Gen CPUs. Also what other parts like GPU and RAM would go with them to maximize performance. Thanks!
