Hey guys,

Just looking to get some thoughts on the issues I'm running into. I just built a new machine with a B450M Pro4 and a 2700X. I'm running into 3 big problems that are making me believe I will have to absolutely replace the motherboard (despite not wanting to :( I haven't found any other B450 mATXs with 2 M.2's).  I was hoping to get some ideas on all the things I should do to troubleshoot when I open up my case later this evening. Here's a list of the issues I'm running into:

1. The system sometimes hangs during boot, and I have to hard power it down and boot it up again. The spinning windows logo pops up but it gets stuck there. I need to reseat the RAM and check if that's the problem.

2. Fans and LEDs still on after windows shutdown. I understand this one is a prime indicator of bad Mobo.

3. NVMe not being recognized. I don't have a way to know if the drive is bad or if the mobo is bad. It's not showing up in the BIOS or in Windows (I installed windows on my other drive.) I plan on checking if my windows drive works in the NVMe slot to narrow that down and plugging the NVMe into my PCIe slot to see if it shows up there.

What do you guys think? I was really hoping to not have to go through the hassle of replacing the motherboard so if you guys think there's other stuff I should check out before I drive an hour and a half to my nearest Microcenter, please let me know. Thanks in advance!

You put an 8 core in one of the worst b450 motherboards, if not the worst.

No wonder you have some issues.
