Have you properly installed the stabilizer that I assume came with it? usually this is a piece of wire/paperclip like material that spans the entire spacebar length that you hook into the spacebar and keyboard.

This video should illustrate what I mean:

Just do the opposite of this. Install the stabilizer and place the spacebar's hooks into it, then set the spacebar down.
