VERY unique challenge!

I have 2 computers. Computer 1 my daily driver, internet game etc. Computer 2 Fresh install of windows 10. I need to get software from computer 1 to computer 2.

Computer 2 has:

HDMI monitor with built in webcam and microphone and soundbar.

Standard keyboard and mouse.

No networking (no internet).

No portable storage media, eg flash drives CDs ect.

No cables or wireless of any kind.

No free internal ports.

The pc can not come apart.

If computer 2 doesnt have any inputs how on earth are getting the info into it?

No usb, no cd, no internet.

Cant you just borrow someones usb drive or something, right now the situation seems impossible, unless they both have infared or firewire or something.

Why cant you use portable media or internet?

I only see your reply if you @ me.

Next thing you is you asking how to get into a really locked down facilities.

But anyways the answer to your question is: you still have a working keyboard and mouse, so you can manually retype all the program sourcecodes, and you will have your programs.

Hah! If there are no free internal ports in computer2, then remove hdd from computer2 and connect it into computer1. Copy everything you want and move hdd back to computer2. :)

unplug the mouse put in a usb drive in the now open port and copy the data onto the hdd via keyboard. ( open a cmd or bash-terminal beforehand ).

or unplug mouse from pc1 and 2 cut the cables of both mice, rewire them and use the new usbcable to transfer data ( you may need to manually write the driver for that on pc2)

That I dit not think about this before.

Pc2 has HDMI right ?

why not use the Ethernet over hdmi function ? ( or is it hdmi 1.0 ? )

there you go. Now you have internet and can do what you want xD

Qoute from google

Quote

Any device needing an HDMIcable can use HDMI with Ethernet cable as it is fully backwards compatible. This cable feature allows your internet-ready entertainment devices, from gaming consoles to Blu-ray Disc players and more, to share an internet connection without any need for a separate Ethernet cable.

I was just researching if there was a way to transfer the data trough the HDMI cables. You figured it out in timely manner.
The problem is we need OP to let us know if this is the "solution" he had in mind.

Well based on that text he doesn’t even have a hdmi cable

but how does he connect his hdmi monitor then ? No cable or wireless so no physical input possible

unless he means Ethernet connection and fiber and optic and that stuff except hdmi xD

edit:

sorry but physical upgrade of a Vm is not possible. Use the provided software to transfer the files you need xD
