Ram issues

Hey guys so i have 16 Gb of ddr3 ram @1600 MHz and 1 stick of 8 Gb at 1300 Mhz

Making my computer run 3x8 sticks @1400Mhz

Should i remove the 8gb and just run the 16 paired @1600Mhz or leave the 24 gigs

as im not receiving errors but it seems to be running a little bottlenecked since i changed my 6gb GTX 1060 to a GTX 1080

Bench mark the computer with 16 and 24 and whichever yeilds better results, do that.

Use aida64, real bench, cinebench, 3D mark, etc...

As long as you don't use more than 16GB then having more makes no difference. It's the better to run it at the faster speed. Most people don't need more than 16.
