i7 8700k 5ghz ? Hard/bad??

Hello, if I wanted to overclock a 8700k to 5ghz, would that be bad or difficult ? With the proper cooler and all it shouldn't be so bad ? It's a big fps boost actually so that is also very good. 

I will use this cpu until the next one is released. (9th gen)

Even before de-lid, it was rather painless for me. I was using an H100i V2.

Haven't heard of many 8700k's that can't hit 5ghz tbh, its fairly standard for them.

From what i've heard, current batches can hit 5.0ghz rather easily but not beyond it like the early batches.

 

My 8700k runs 5.0ghz at 1.32v.

Sucks i know especially when other people are running them at 1.25.
