hi everyone, first of all, i live in a country where pc components are insanely expensives, recently i was able to save some cash and build an entry level gamming pc for my kids to play with.

the config i stuck with was an AMD RYZEN 1200, an NVIDIA GT 1030 AERO, 4Gb of ddr4 ram @2133ghz in a MSI a320m-k.

it was fun to teach my kids how to buid their first pc and we did in a quite short time yesterday.

i instaled fortnite and noticed sudden freezes and significant frame drops. i then started with the obvious, lower the resolution, turning off some details, disabling shadows, etc....

but still get some random freezes from time to time, then, i went into  chrome to find a solution, and the pc still freezes.

i went in the bios and saw the ram was running @1333mhz i dunno why.

i looked everywhere, but no one seems to give a solution.

i apreciate any help possible.

I hope your GT 1030 is a GDDR5 model and not DDR4. If it's the latter, well, it's basically as good as onboard graphics.

yes, is the gddr5 model. i know it isn't much, but that same card was in an old core 2 quad pc and performed quite good before i updated to ryzen.
