windows black screen boot

So i just moved house, had to move all my pc stuff, used it yesterday all was fine.

Now moved into my new house got my pc all setup and this is what happens:

Press power button everything lights up and fans all good, see bios screen, after see windows logo, screen goes black and nothing else, able to move mouse around restarted few times booted straight to the hard drive from bios. Anyone have any ideas?

Can you get into the bios?

What happens when you go to the boot menu and select the boot drive manually

Yank the drive, boot into bios, restart, then put the drive in. Alternatively, set the port to hot plug and put the drive in while in bios.

Got another windows drive lying around? Try to verify the integrity of the drive

I've actually had the same thing happen, but it wasn't as bad. I truly have no clue why it happens, but might be some kind of power surge to the drive.
