Mix matching ram?

I have 2 x 4gb 2133mhz ( crucial ) ram sticks and I am looking at adding 2 x 8gb 2400mhz ( corsair vengeance ). I'm assuming that they will work but the 2400 will just run at 2133 mhz but just to be 100% sure I wanted to ask people who know.

Yes the new RAM will be set to run at 2133Mhz.
