what are the thickness of the pads on a 1070 ti windforce? and what are some good thermal pads preferably from mem express, Newegg or amazon.

Idk, prolly 2mm or 2.5. Measure and see. 

 

No real reason to waste money on pads. eBay or amazon. Any place you want, won’t matter overall.

I just got the card and can see a pad sliding off the memory chip..

The pads are oversized on the VRAM chips to ensure they are completely covered but as mentioned you need to physically measure the originals to get the ones of the proper thickness.
