Hdmi vs DVI

Is Hdmi better than DVI also i heard that Dvi doesnt have audio,does that mean you need another adapter for audio if your gonna be using dvi?

Hdmi is better and yes it cant transmit audio.

There's generally no reason to go for DVI over HDMI in most cases. 

 

You'd need a dedicated audio output if you're using DVI (if you want audio)

DVI, from what I remember, technically can transmit audio, but most DVI outputs do not support it and even fewer DVI inputs support it.

HDMI is superior to DVI in basically every conceivable way until you get to older cards and outputting at high refresh rates.

DP > HDMI > DVI > VGA. it's already 2018 and you should aim for HDMI as minimum.
