Hello Community,

this is a follow up on my problems regarding my 7700k's terrible temps.

Long story short, everything is working fine with my new NH D15S.

The problem wasn't related to Intel TIM, the CPU Sensor or whatever... My Alphacool-Eisbaer 240 just clogged up. After disassembly of my PC I saw thousands of small particle flowing around in my AIO. I purchased the cooler 11 month ago - has anyone ever had similar experience with Alphacool or is there a mistake on my part.

AIO got clogged? how is that possible?

I had a similar problem with the H100i and found some weird brown grease all over the block that was preventing the pump from working, removed everything with a toothpick and it's still working, even temps are 5c lower

I'd imagine the tubing deteriorating over time and maybe bad liquid could cause it.

Well if the liquid temps got too high (or were fairly high for long periods of time) that can just accelerate things going to shit in a handbasket. And since the Eisbaer isn't a bad unit necessarily (just overpriced as hell) it just furthers my idea that OP could have just had rotten luck.

I hope clogged is the right word for it. But there are a LOT of particles in the Water of my AIO. I don't want to open and clean it because it has warranty left.

RMA it if it still has warranty
