Hi all, new here as I need help with my new PC build. Currently I just got my PC with Ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 1070. My monitor is a 1080p 60Hz and I am planning to upgrade it. Was wondering if the CPU pair will be able to handle 1080p 144Hz monitor or should I go 1440p 60Hz? My most played games are CSGO, PUBG, GTA V, Overwatch and Witcher 3. Will there be bottleneck and should I change my CPU? Thank you in advance!

Your CPU is fine. Most modern budget CPU's can handle like a 1080Ti easily. As for which monitors, you'd have to decide between quality and refresh rate. I see you play some competitive games so maybe a 144hz refresh rate could benefit you and it also looks super pretty.

Im on a 1440 ultrawide @ 100hz and I run most games perfectly on high settings with my 1700 and 1070.

Though, i'd probably get a high refresh 1080 monitor.
