what psu do u think i need for this build, i think 750w would be fine but i need to be sure so i need ur guys help thanks

 

CPU: i7 8700k 5.0ghz 1.35v
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: G.Skill Trident Z 16gb 3200 mhz
M2 SSD: samsung evo 970
CPU Cooler: nzxt kraken x62

750W is plenty. Welcome to the forum!

A 500w or 750w would work fine. Personally I would go for the 750w if you plan to do any upgrades in the future.

A high quality 650W PSU would provide enough headroom for good overclocking for CPU and GPU. 750W would provide additional headroom to account for aging, allowing you to retain the same PSU for another build in the future.

 

Look into the EVGA 650 G2 or the Seasonic Focus Gold 650. These models also exist in 750W variants.

Save that extra $25 and get a 550W. Next use that cash to buy a another fan :D 750W is way overkill, even for upgrades. You simply don't need it.

I) Fractal Define R6 - Silent with decent airflow

I) Be Quiet! DB 900 (Full Tower) - Airflow and silent 

I) Fractal Design Meshify C mini (mATX)

I) Corsair 400C - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Phanteks 350X - Only use with low end components, no 1080 / TI

I) Fractal Design Focus G

 

Cases that may be worth your money

 

I) Thermaltake G21 - GPU and CPU cooling issues, modest tweaking
I) Silverstone RL06 / Pro - Mustard/Ketchup wires, Shitty cable management, Poor front radiator support, useless psu filter, stupid ssd layout
I) In Win 303

I) Coolermaster H500 no suffix - if 200mm fans are your thing

I) NZXT H700 non "i" version - Needs to come down in price to be worth it
