I noted in another thread elsewhere that there are only so many keyboards out there which are sold equipped with Cherry MX Speed Silvers, my new favorite mechanical switch, some of which don't feel especially nice; a few are a bit cramped on the fingers or have strange-feeling keycaps. Offerings from Corsair are pretty good, but if I got one of those, they'd be trapped under iCue and wouldn't be able to synchronize with my army of Aura-compatible components, and...that's important, dangit! Besides, I recently got myself a ROG Strix Flare, and I love just about everything about it...except the switches it came with. Now Cherry MX Reds are durn good switches, they're smooth and slick and graceful, but as is a running theme with me they have just a bit too much travel for me to want to use them on a daily. And Asus didn't pick up the Speed Silvers, soooooo...

I went and bought a G.Skill Ripjaws KM570, and I plan to swap its switches with the ROG Strix Flare's. Just waiting for the G.Skill unit to arrive.

What is a mad scientist but a wizard who writes things down?
