Im setting up a server with all my files on it so I can access it on any device through Windows so i can also run a Minecraft server on it, but i dont know what program is most efficient to allow other devices to stream the content. Any suggestions?

Agreed, for "Streaming" content as you put it - Plex is the way to go. Stream videos, movies and TV shows etc.

 

You can set up plex on a dedicated storage location and leave the rest of the server to do with as you please. E.G Minecraft server in your case.

 

Just remember that you will need to be able to access your IP address over the internet. If you don't want to do that, I suggest getting a subscription to something like Splashtop. Or just get something like FileZilla if it is only general documents and files you're trying to access.
