So in my house we've gotten a new router but we had this issue when we had the old router as well but because we installed about six cameras around our house that streams and records the picture when there is movement and the camera detects it. I've tried turning the cameras off but even then I still get my internet either throttled from 150 mbps to 6mbps or the modem itself just loses connection and stops working for a while and turns back on. My speeds are 150 mbps Up/down and the router I have is AC2400  RT-AC87U. Its getting frustrating because it seems like every week the internet either goes really slow or it turns off. I've talked to my provider which is Frontier and they say they don't have any issues on their end. If you need more info let me know. I also have an app on my phone that lets me see who is connected and we have about 27 devices as their are 6 of us living in our house right now.

Things i've tried are:

restarting the router

Talking to my provider (Frontier)

switching out routers
