Display not detected

I bought a used 780 and found out that it was broken. today I cleaned my pcie slot and when I turned it on it beeped once (which according to the bios means display not detected) and shut down. I turned it off and on a couple of times. It then turned on. I went into the bios and my gpu still wasn't detected. I booted it into windows and after a couple of seconds it turned off. 

Please help me as I'm very confused
