rubber covers

i have all the parts to my first pc and i am about to start building.i have an msi gtx 1070ti gaming it has a coupe red either plastic or rubber covers covering the HDMI and the display ports i am only going to be using one display port can i leave the rest of the little red covers on or will that be a problem
