If i overclocked my xeon x3430 to 3.2 ghz is it faster than the i5 2400 for gaming?also i search h55 motherboards online and its hard for me to find motherboards that support the x3430 the motherboards that i searched doesnt have a support for the x3430 listed on their website.

The Xeons are not officially supported on any H/P motherboards but they just work, so no worries about that :)

 

It'll still be slower than the 2400 as it has significantly higher IPC than the X3430. The 3430 is also just a 4C/4T CPU.
