Hello.

I noticed that my wireless connection is really slow. On speedtest.com, it's 3-5mbps even when I switch to a new router. In task manager under performance, depending on what I'm doing, I've seen it go up to 11mbps at most. Even if I have a full bar or almost full bar on the task bar icon when I hover the mouse over it, it doesn't say "excellent connection" like it used to but now says "internet access." I've tried resetting my router and buying new router even using 5ghz but the situation hasn't changed.

My usb adapter and router should not be broken and they are updated, so I'm guessing I must have missed something.

My wireless adapter is Linksys WirelessAC USB 3.0 Adapter (WUSB6300) and my new router is D-link Wireless AC1000 Dual Band Router (DIR-820L). The situation is the same even with my old Linksys router or my laptop's built-in adapter. So if anyone knows what's wrong please let me know. Especially why it says "internet access" instead of "excellent connection" anymore.

Thanks.
