Hello to you all!

(i guess this is a bit stupid question)

Im planning a more or less bigger pc upgrade for my rig soon, and i just wonder what psu i should go for, an Corsiar AX760 or an Fractal Design Newton R3 800 watt psu or some in the same price range/performance maybe or a smaller one.

Im planning to upgrade to the following: i7-3770K/ i5-3570K ASUS ROG Maximus V GENE and i already have a ASUS HD 7950 Direct CUII card.

I am also planing to oc the i7-3770K/i5-3570K, and i might go for cfx further down the road.... maybe. if not you guys can suggest a smaller psu. I want a psu that does NOT have any coil wine and are quiet. a modular psu is not that important to me, so semi- or fully modular psu is fine. good efficiency is also pretty much up to you guys. everything between 80+ silver to 80+ platinum is fine.

=\ Just get something in the 750 range that's plat rated with modular design, Most of the newer PSUs are near silent, haven't heard of any complaints of noise. Most shoppable sites will have options to narrow your choices down. Corsair is usually pretty good, I have an AX750.

A SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold psu should be able to power your system.

gold vs plat is not a big gain pick one that wil work +/- 50% of your general needs since most PSU are most efficient at that lvl ;)

for one GFX this should be around 550 650
