1.     Budget & Location

Current budget is around £750 with the ability to stretch to £900 if need be. Currently based in the UK hence the GBP.

2.     Aim

The goal is to upgrade my current PC that’s is some-what out dated (specs below). If possible, I’d love to keep the case but a know it may have limitations being a Lenovo H430. The system will be used for gaming and potentially VR in the future. Games would likely be action shooters like Just Cause and Open Worlds like the Assassins Creed franchise and GTA.

3.     Monitors

Currently, only using one monitor and will probably on upgrade to a widescreen single monitor in the future.

4.     Peripherals

Peripherals are standard Steelseries mouse, Razer Death Stalker keyboard and HyperX cloud 2 headset. Also have a 360 controller for when I need it.

5.     Why are you upgrading?

The upgrade is because I’ve been running the same system with a few repairs here and there for about 5 years, and I’m now starting to limit myself to console play for newer titles which isn’t where my friends are or my preferred platform. Also, VR has taken my fancy and have a feeling Lennie (yes, I named my PC) might die.

6.     Specifications

CPU: Intel Core i5 2320 3.0 GHz Processor Motherboard: Stock Lenovo H430 LGA1155 Socket RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 1333MHz GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Storage: WD Blue 1TB PSU: Evo Labs ATX PSU 550W Case: Lenovo H430 Monitor: Acer K242HL Mouse: Steelseries Rival 300 Keyboard: Razer Death Stalker Mousepad: Steelseries QcK Headset:  HyperX Cloud 2

7.     Conclusion

I would love to make this the best rig it can be with the budget, I have no fan boy preferences, other than my case. I understand some of the information isn’t great I am a relative noob to upgrading and rig building but hope I can learn and would appreciate anyone’s help.

the I/O cable on the case may be proprietary, it won't fit on a standard mobo if it's just one large connector.
