RAM isn't system specific like that. Only first gen, first wave boards have risk that RAM doesn't work. Bigger issue is that your mobo doesn't like mixing different RAM clocks, sizes and timings. So what RAM you have now?

How many RAM slots mobo has? I can get specs saying that max amount of RAM is 8gb, but doesn't say how many slots there are (and Google image search gives 2 variations of that board). If you have 4 slots, then you it most likely doesn't support 4gb stick per slot. If it has 2 slots, it might support 4gb sticks. But I'm not sure.

Yeah.....max amount of 8gb RAM and it has  4 slots.... I just made some findings and it doesn't support 4gb single stick but a 2gb single stick should work fine
