Can Identify Graphics Card

Howdy, this is my first post to the forums, and I think this is appropriate, I have an old Graphics card gifted to me by my uncle, when I plugged it in, the screen showed nothing. When I looked in the device manager, it didn't show up, my friend has been saying to look it up, but there isn't any thing identifiable on the card, I went to amds website and they had nothing. The card is an XFX card with no other identification, any ideas or suggestions anybody? I'm honestly confused. And I occasionally work with building PC's so.. any help is appreciated.

Looks like their R7/9 2xx series, but I couldn't tell you more than that. Try plugging it in as the secondary card in a system, that ought to reveal something

It's possible it's dead then, try taking off the cooler and seeing if you can identify the GPU

Looks to be an R9 270(x). I'm about 95% sure since I just did a super cheap budget build for a client with an XFX R9 270X a few months ago. Shroud looked just like that.

Might be an R9 280/X as well, it looks similar to some of those

XFX makes lots of variants of each of their cards, wouldn't surprise me if there was one with and one without
