Aquarium Filter in Custom Loop

I have been thinking about it, but what would happen if i were to put an aquarium filter in a loop?

It depends on the filter but most will add restriction within the loop itself, in general filters aren't really a necessary item in a loo. Fine water filters are good for flushing and cleaning rads if you want to pump water through them for extended periods to clean them.
