pump speed control?

trouble controlling pump speed, i've tried plugging pump into aio and h amp fan header and tried mutiple sttings in the bios and ai suite won't let me adjust, pump always runs at full speed 4700rpm. i'm running a d5 pwm pump, asus strix z270f mobo.

What version of the D5 are you running? if it's PWM capable you need to configure the fan header to be setup as PWM control in the bios.

It's a xspc laing d5 pwm pump with sata power. I have set it to pwm control in the bios on the aio and h amp header.

Try using a different header like the CPU header the connection takes no power just an RPM back for monitoring and PWM control.
