PC throws red screen after "Welcome" screen

My pc almost everytime throws a red screen after booting to windows instead of the desktop(there is also a bit of lag in welcome screen). This problem only occurs with my windows account but nothing of this sort happens with the family account. It also sometimes boots if lucky. My cpu and motherboard are extremely old but hdd and gpu are brand new. My family account doesn't have a password so I tried removing my password but no improvements. I also tried messing with the bios but cant make it working as before.

Please help!
