windows clock problem | losing my mind

Mdpadyab

i've had this problem for over a year now with my windows clock
the problem

more often than not my windows clock falls exactly 30 minutes behind.when this happens it can be fixed by going to the set date/time setting and turning the [ set time automaticly ] toggle on and off.

i've reinstalled windows 10+ times after this was originally happening and i've tried everything and nothing seems to work.

what i've done :

1- updating my bios to the lastest version

2- changing the battry of my motherboard

3- going to the clock setting and puting it on internet time .

4- running a check on all the compunents to ensure they dont have any problem.

5- using windows without any applications { using windows the way it is before i install anything } for 5 days and it still happend :(.

i really don't know what is causing this and it's really annoying .

please if anyone one has any idea why this is happening help me figure it out.

my clock settings are in the picture.

my pc specs :

mb:asrock fatality h97 performance

cpu: intel core i3 4160

graphic: gtx960

psu: 600 w

ram : 16 GB adata ddr3 2400 mhz

What's your time zone?

If setting the time zone automatically on works then don't turn it off; your time zone is probably +4:00, but you set it to +3:30.. that's why it's exactly 30 minutes behind

i was about to ask are you on the edge of a timezone? maybe your isp has your ip labeled wrong and the internet is setting your clock to the wrong time.

It seems like you live on the edge of a timezone, so when pc updates from the internet it thinks you are in a different timezone. Solution? Set the timezone manually.

For literally the longest time everytime i restarted my PC it would say i was in Pacific Time, even though i live on the East cost (Eastern Time).  EVERY....SINGLE....TIME.... I would ahve to manually set the time, then reflag everything to "auto" and it would be fine.  only to restart and have the same thing happen all over again.

IDK WTF Microsoft did, but it was fixed with the last Windows 10 patch i got.

you are not alone, it drove me insane too.  I work later in the day and it did actually cause me to be 4 hours late to work at one point.  (i work at 1PM, and the difference between 1PM and 4PM in the summer isnt all that much).  My boss was thrilled.

my timezone is manual you can see that in the picture it's not a timezone problem because when that happens my timezone is untouched and only clock falls 30 min behind but thank you anyway ^_^

are you physically on the edge of a timezone , if you have the machine sync to internet time and your isp is labeling your ip as being in a different zone then i can see why the computer thinks it's located elsewhere.

well as an experiment , does the clock change itself to the wrong time if the machine is never plugged into the internet

you may also want to go into the BiOS and set the time.

Windows will confirm things like timezone and current time with the Bios before grabbing data from the internet.
