Cooler master Cosmos side panel stuck

Hi, I have a cooler master Cosmos 1000 and today I tried to open the side panel to clean the dust but it wouldn't come off. It seems that the mechanism to unlock the panel isn't latching anymore meaning that I can't get into the case at all. Does anybody have a possible solution to this problem?

Main PC: ASUS PRIME X299-A / Core i7 7820X / 16GB DDR4 / Palit GTX 1070 Ti / Corsair CX550F / Corsair Carbide Air 540

Secondary PC: ASUS X99-A / Core i7 5820K / 16GB DDR4 / EVGA GTX 780 ti Classified / Corsair CX500M / Fractal Define S
